A long winding queue during a steady downpour to get into The Met to roadside vendors selling fine art magnets, talks of art being engrained into the skin of New York. I talk of design too, fashion amongst many other things.
The home to Broadway and many a world renowned musicians, this simple but elegant New York brick structure struck a note for me. Especially with music being such an inspiration in my life. As I walked by, looking for more art, there it was THE Carnegie Hall.
It makes me realise that the soul of a city is incomplete without a sincere appreciation for its arts and for its artists and for excelling to be called that too.
